Analysis

You may be asking yourself why I'm posting photos and not drawings. Well, during the summer holidays I finally started to draw and paint myself because it's the easiest way to be really honest in illustrating people. I'm working on a series of drawings where there is no face or just a little part of the face to see. In a few weeks you may recognize those two pictures in some drawings. I try to do my best to stay honest.

Another Sketch

Since my last post passed to much time. This doesn't mean that I wasn't working during this time. Actually I've been painting on canvas. As soon as I will be able to reproduce them I'll load some of them up.

In the meantime here another sketch. Check out troprouge on instagram - she's lovely.

This was my first try in drawing big pictures. They measure about 70 x 150 cm.

When I moved in the middle of March to my new flat, my old room was empty. So my friend Steffi and me decided to use that room as a "photo studio" (well, kind of). We took that photo you see at the top of my blog entry. A couple of weeks later we had the chance to do intaglio prints at school and I decided to use that photo as kind of an inspiration.
